Dear supporters,
Alhamdulilah, as we enter the final quarter of 2025, we are humbled to share that Solace UK was named Charity of the Year at the Black Muslim Awards 2025. This honour reflects the dedication of our team, volunteers, and supporters who make our work possible. Whether you contribute through donations, your time, your du’a, or simply by sharing and talking about our work, we sincerely thank you.
I wanted to take a moment to pause, reflect, and share some important updates from Solace UK. These past few months have been a time of deep growth, both within our team and in the work we do to support revert women across the UK and beyond.
Improving Our Support Services
Alhamdulilah, we’ve made some major steps forward this quarter. We’ve redesigned the structures of both our 1:1 Support Service and our Marriage Support Service. These changes are paving the way for us to respond more quickly and efficiently to sisters who reach out, while building a stronger, more sustainable foundation for the growth needed to meet the ever-increasing needs of our community.
We are now carefully reviewing our response times and case allocation processes to ensure no woman is left waiting for the support she needs in spite of the increasing demand on our services.
The Solace Institute: Preparing for 2026 📚
Behind the scenes, the Solace Institute has been going through a period of careful planning. Our team has been working steadily towards launching our first ever Weekend Foundation Course in early 2026, inshaAllah. This will be a milestone moment, designed to offer revert women and the wider community a space to deepen their faith, develop spiritually, and build connection with others walking similar paths.
Celebrating Our Volunteers
Our Volunteer Department has seen an increase in engagement, with applications coming in not just from across the UK, but from the US, Pakistan and Indonesia. Our volunteers have supported marketing, events, and operational tasks, and I want to say: your contribution matters. Every behind-the-scenes action is a form of worship when done with sincerity. May Allah reward you all. Ameen.
Key Highlights
We also saw 111 new signups for our Pre-Marriage Course this quarter, which tells us how essential this service truly is. Our local events continued to bring sisters together. We hosted a beach trip for 51 women and Afternoon tea social events which saw 36 women attend. These moments of connection, though small, can nurture hope, strengthen faith and create a sense of belonging.
It brings me joy to also share that Sheikha Saleha Bukhari has joined our Ask a Sheikh service. We are incredibly blessed to have her with us.
Representing Solace at Key Events
I had the honour of representing Solace at two key events this summer. At the Muslim Charities Forum Convention in July, I spoke on the panel “Women Leading Change”. Later that month, I joined iERA’s National Dawah Convention, where we launched our New Muslim Pack tailored to support new Muslim women at the earliest stages of their journey.
Resources for Organisations Supporting Reverts 📝
We also have finalised the first draft of our Training Manual for organisations seeking to establish circles for reverts and sent it to three of our partner organisations. The feedback has been incredibly encouraging, with one partner describing it as “detailed, solution-oriented, and practical.” We’ve made the decision to build a dedicated shop landing page on our website to host this and future resources, inshaAllah.
Looking ahead, we are focused on ensuring that our newly implemented service model continues to support sustainability and capacity. Our aim is not only to expand what we offer, but to improve how we offer it with excellence, integrity, and compassion at the core.

This work is not about numbers. It is about lives. It is about the sister who quietly sends a message asking for help and finally feels seen. It’s about the woman who sits at a Solace event and realises for the first time she’s not alone. It’s about the faith and resilience that you help us nurture every day.
