As we complete the first quarter of the year, we take a moment to reflect on what has been a meaningful and impactful start to 2026.
In January, Solace marked a significant milestone, 15 years of supporting revert women. This period has been one of growth, preparation, reflection, and renewed intention. While much of our work happens quietly behind the scenes, its impact continues to reach revert women who need support, guidance, and community the most.
One of the key initiatives this quarter was the continuation of our Financial Literacy and Business Empowerment Programme. Alhamdulillah, 21 revert women successfully enrolled. Having completed the financial literacy component in December, this quarter we resumed the final stage, business training – equipping revert women with the tools, confidence, and skills to move towards financial independence.
Our community remains at the heart of everything we do. Solace stands today because of your continued support, trust, and du’a. This quarter, we launched Friends of Solace, a way to recognise and honour those who have stood by us over the years and continue to believe in our mission to support revert women. We would be truly honoured to welcome you into this growing community.
Alhamdulillah, a major focus this quarter has been preparing for Ramadan, the most important time of year for our work. Through your support, we were able to finish Ramadan with strong results, enabling us to continue and expand the services we provide to revert women across the UK and beyond.
Alongside this, we have been strengthening our services to ensure they are both sustainable and impactful. Our Wellbeing department has undergone a significant transformation, completing its first full cycle under the One Team model. This approach has unified our North and South branches, further strengthening collaboration across our teams, bringing our teams together in a more unified way. This includes refining how we deliver support, improving our processes, and ensuring that every revert woman who reaches out receives consistent, high-quality care.
Behind the scenes, Solace Institute has been undergoing a period of careful development. We were honoured to launch our first-ever Weekend Foundation Course: Anchored Hearts: Strengthening Your Connection with Allah (swt), supported by National Waqf. This marks a significant milestone, offering both revert and non-revert Muslim women a space to deepen their faith, grow spiritually, and build meaningful connections with others on similar journeys.
Our Marriage Service continues to grow, providing guidance and support for revert women in marriage, including education on Islamic marital rights and responsibilities and offering wali panel support where needed. Alhamdulillah, we have facilitated 4 nikkahs to date. This quarter alone, 65 revert women signed up for our Pre-Marriage Course, highlighting just how essential this service is.
Our local events have continued to bring revert women together. We hosted our annual Iftar and Eid celebrations, welcoming revert women into spaces of warmth, connection, and belonging. These moments, though simple, can nurture hope, strengthen faith, and remind a revert woman that she is not alone. In total we held 9 events to date. Alhamdulillah.

This work is not about numbers; it is about lives. It is about the revert woman who quietly reaches out for help and finally feels seen. It is about the woman who attends a Solace gathering and, perhaps for the first time, feels a true sense of belonging. It is about the faith and resilience that, together, we can nurture every single day.
As we move into the next quarter, we do so with gratitude, purpose, and a continued commitment to serving with sincerity.
