Day 29 | Al-Waarith

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي ۖ إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِين

“My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteous deeds of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.” (Surah Al-Ahqaf, 46:15)

Everything I own, everything I have ever been given comes from Allah, is a loan from Him and will return to Him, so I am grateful for these gifts, and use them wisely, knowing they belong to Al-Waarith and not to me.
