Becoming Muslim is just the beginning for revert women. For many, it’s the start of walking this new journey alone.
That’s why we’re building something different this year. To ensure revert Muslim women have the support, guidance, and community they need, every step of the way.
Climb With Us!
Take on the challenge of climbing Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales, on 21st June with Solace to mark World Muslim Convert Day and support every woman who has had to walk her journey alone after embracing Islam.
This is a one-day climb. Coach from London departs at 3:45 AM (location shared after booking).
All others to meet us at the base of Snowdon at 10:15 AM.
The route will be via the Llanberis Path, the easiest and most gradual trail to the summit. The trek (ascent and descent) typically takes approximately 6-7 hours, depending on pace, rest stops, and weather conditions on the day.
Suitable for individuals with a reasonable level of fitness and the appropriate hiking gear.
Women aged 18+ only.
- Guided climb via Llanberis Path.
- Group support throughout the climb.
- Access to participant WhatsApp group (updates, packing list, coordination).
- Support with setting up your LaunchGood fundraising page.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Snowdon.

Limited availability – offered on a first come, first served basis.
This is a physically demanding, full-day hike and should be taken seriously. Mountain conditions can change quickly, so it’s essential to come prepared.
Please ensure you bring:
- Waterproof clothing
- Warm layers
- Sturdy walking boots
- Sufficient food and water
Participants should follow all guidance provided on the day and take regular breaks as needed.
All participants are responsible for their own health, fitness, and preparation, and take part in the climb at their own risk.
