The Solace UK Psychotherapy Support Program
We are pleased to open applications for our second new program this year!
Solace UK has received external funding specifically for revert sisters who require professional faith-based psychotherapy support. This program is also available to revert sisters and their husbands who require faith-based marital psychotherapy support.
The support program is open to all revert sisters including those who have previously received support from Solace.
Applications are now open for a limited number of spaces.
Note: This program is not suitable for applicants who have been diagnosed with serious mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, severe anxiety, delusional disorders with or without psychotic symptoms, due to the need for a higher level of input.
Inside The Psychotherapy Support Program:
Please read the following steps and corresponding requirements carefully before applying to the program.
Step 1: Apply to the program by Friday, 23rd July 2021.

Step 2: Sign the declaration form and complete a pre-support questionnaire.
Selected applicants are required to sign a declaration stating you are willing to share the results of the program, including a written personal statement with Solace, for funding purposes (anonymity will be respected). They are also required to complete a pre-support questionnaire that will provide a snapshot of the applicant’s condition prior to the support.
Step 3: Get assigned to a Support Worker and Qualified Muslim Psychotherapist.
Selected applicants will be assigned a designated Solace support worker who will aid on a weekly basis as they receive psychotherapy from a qualified Muslim psychotherapist.
Step 4:Â Be committed through the duration of the support program.
We expect selected applications to be ready to receive help and commit to the support program through its duration.
Step 5: Complete the support program and the post-support questionnaire.
After completing the support program, beneficiaries are required to accomplish the post-support questionnaire and evaluation.
