I'm in! What do I need to join?

Get your tickets below, then we’ll get your fundraising pages up and running! Reach your goal and then walk with her on the 9th October.

How old should I be to join the walk?

Children ages 7 and above can join the event, however, if you are under 18, you would need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We encourage minors to join the event with your family!

My children are below the age of 7, can I bring them?

We can accommodate some situations where parents can walk with their children with ease and are confident they can manage. Please get in touch with us at [email protected].

Can I join with my children?

We encourage participants to join with their families, and the event is suitable for families with children aged 7 and above. This event is not suitable for kids below the age of 7.

Can I join with my husband/wife?

Absolutely! Walk With Her is for individuals, families (couples, siblings, parents and kids), and groups (friends, colleagues).

Can brothers join?

Absolutely! Many fathers have joined us to walk with their sons. Walk With Her is for brothers and sisters. We’ve planned out the walk layout and have volunteers walking with the groups to ensure everyone’s safety.

How much should I raise?

To join the charity walk, you’ll need to raise at least £150. But if you’d like to raise higher amounts to get your team ahead, go for it! Whatever amount you choose, we know it’ll be easily achievable with the aid of Allah, your sincerity and commitment, and our support, inshaAllah.

Where do raised funds go?

The funds raised for this event go to sisters who are struggling to make ends meet for themselves and their children, or sisters who are suffering from physical, emotional, mental and financial abuse, or sisters who are having difficulty with practicing Islam, and more.

With a minimum target of £150, you can help as many as 15 sisters through our 1:1 Support Scheme.

Is there a registration fee?

The registration fee for an individual is £10, and the fee for members of a group is £7.5 each.

Registration fees allow us to cover the costs of running the event, as well as your walk packs, badges and other provisions, keeping the funds you raised as 100% donations.
