About the Sheikh
Sheikh Wasim Kempson was born and raised in London where he accepted Islam in 1994. Three years later he went on to study at Madinah University, there he stayed for seven years, during which he completed a Diploma in the Arabic Language followed by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Shariah.
He studied at SOAS university in London acquiring a Masters in Islamic law. Sheikh Wasim is also a qualified Chaplin, receiving certification from Masjid an-Nabawi in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarrah.
Upon returning to the United Kingdom, he has been involved in various institutes and schools. He has also worked with IQRA TV (Arabic and English), Islam Channel, Eman Channel and Huda TV, producing a number of Islamic series. He is currently working with Mercy to Humanity charity and an advisor to Nujum sports.
